Nathan Lefebvre

Nathan Lefebvre has been with the University of Tennessee National Forensic Science Institute since September, 2002, having worked for the State of Tennessee for nearly 15 years. He is responsible for management of all aspects of the ten-week National Forensic Academy.

Through his close relationship with the University of Tennessee Department of Anthropology Forensic Anthropology Center, he has overseen the development of an internet database for missing and unidentified persons. In addition to his work providing training and resources to the law enforcement community, Lefebvre also maintains close contact with an international network of National Forensic Academy alumni and instructors through extensive nationwide field visits. Recently he directed the technical and design coordination for a new $1.1 million facility to house the National Forensic Science Institute.

Lefebvre holds a Master’s degree in Education as well as a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Tennessee.
