Robert Geiger

Robert Geiger joined the LEIC in March of 2008 as a Forensic Training Coordinator with the National Forensic Academy. In this position, Geiger will coordinate the National Forensic Academy, a ten week training program designed for crime scene investigators. Additionally, he will be working closely with alumni of the National Forensic Academy.

Geiger came to the LEIC from the United States Air Force 178th Security Forces Squadron, Springfield Ohio, where he served as the Anti-Terrorism Program Manager and Unit Fitness Program Manager. As the Anti-Terrorism Program Manager, he worked with the Defense Threat Reduction Agency and the Naval Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technology Division testing the Remote/Standoff Explosive Detection System (R/SEDS). While working on his Bachelor's degree, Geiger had the opportunity to intern with Congressman Michael Turner 3rd District of Ohio and the United States Marshals Service Southern District of Ohio.

Geiger holds a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Criminal Justice from Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio and two Associate degrees from the Community College of the Air Force in Aviation Maintenance Technology and in Criminal Justice.
