Law Enforcement Innovation Center

This position provides administrative and/or clerical assistance to the Law Enforcement Innovation Center, located in Oak Ridge, Tn.  Duties include:  maintenance of records, preparation of reports, data entry, answering telephone calls, greeting visitors to LEIC, scheduling and arranging meetings on behalf of LEIC leaders and limited coordination of office functions.  The position will also be responsible for updating electronic newsletters and websites (within the template provided) and providing this information to alumni and others within the law enforcement/school safety network.


The successful applicant must have a High School diploma with an associate’s degree or higher preferred.  Two years office experience is required.  Demonstrated ability to use Microsoft Office software programs required; familiarity with UT’s IRIS system preferred.  Oral, written and listening communication skills are required and must have the ability to work well with others in a team environment.  Ability to organize electronic information, do data entry, keyboarding, and familiarity with Microsoft Office products.  Ability to interact with customers via phone, email or face-to-face, representing the agency in a professional manner.  A driver’s license is required. 

This position is based in Oak Ridge, Tennessee.
